Our Privacy Policy and Personal Data Processing provide you with information on how FUTURE TALENTS, LDA. (hereinafter referred to as FUTURE TALENTS) processes your personal data. We aim to communicate transparently which personal data we process and under what conditions we do so. Therefore, we promote the protection of the security and privacy of your personal data while providing the appropriate mechanisms for the exercise of data subjects' rights. In summary, our goal is to ensure compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, concerning the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data - General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - and other applicable legislation, including national legislation that complements the GDPR.
1.Collection, Processing, and Storage of Personal Data
FUTURE TALENTS collects, processes, and subsequently maintains personal data, either manually or through automated means, for the following purposes and under the following terms and conditions:
1. In the case of talent under agency contracts, personal data is collected and subsequently processed by FUTURE TALENTS for the execution of the agency contract, using specific procedures, methods, and computerized registration systems for this purpose. The data is retained throughout the contractual relationship and, after this period, for the time necessary to comply with commercial, tax, social security, and other applicable national and European legislation.
2. In the case of clients and suppliers, personal data is collected and subsequently processed by FUTURE TALENTS for the execution of the commercial relationship, using specific procedures, methods, and computerized registration systems for this purpose. The data is retained throughout the contractual relationship and, after this period, for the time necessary to comply with commercial, tax, and other applicable national and European legislation.
3. In the case of spontaneous applications (e.g., submission and receipt of CVs), whether in physical format (paper) or through our website or directly via email, regardless of whether it is an application for employment or agency representation, and if they are not selected for the intended purpose, the data will be kept for a minimum of six months and deleted within a maximum of 12 months.
4. Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, including but not limited to name, address, contact details (phone, email), date of birth, gender, nationality, marital status, profession, etc. An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, particularly by reference to an identifier such as a name, an image, a voice, an identification number, location data, electronic identifiers, or one or more specific elements of the physical, physiological, cultural, or social identity of that person.
In general, personal data is retained for as long as necessary and while the legitimate purposes for which the data is processed persist, particularly to fulfill contractual, legal, or regulatory obligations.
2.Lawfulness of Processing
At FUTURE TALENTS, we process personal data lawfully, fairly, and transparently, in accordance with the specific purposes for which it is intended. The processing of personal data occurs after obtaining prior, express, informed, and freely given consent for specific purposes. Therefore, the processing of personal data is lawful if and to the extent that at least one of the following conditions applies:
1. The data subject has given their consent for the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes;
2. In the case of minors under 16 years old, consent must be provided by the holder(s) of parental responsibility, who must send the necessary supporting documents to FUTURE TALENTS. Failure to do so will prevent registration with the agency;
3. Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or for pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject;
4. Processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the data controller is subject;
5. Processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the data controller;
6. Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by the data controller or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject requiring personal data protection, particularly when the data subject is a child.
3.Data Subject Rights
At any time, you may request from FUTURE TALENTS access to your personal data, as well as its rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, or objection to its processing. The main individual rights include:
1. Right to be informed – FUTURE TALENTS provides data subjects with the required information under the GDPR.
2. Right of access – The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation from FUTURE TALENTS as to whether or not their personal data is being processed and, if so, to access their personal data.
3. Right to rectification – The data subject has the right to obtain the correction of inaccurate personal data concerning them without undue delay.
4. Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) – The data subject has the right to request the deletion of their personal data without undue delay.

4.Sharing of Personal Data
At FUTURE TALENTS, personal data is accessible only to employees who need it to fulfill contractual, pre-contractual, or legal obligations. Additionally, personal data may be shared with third parties, including public authorities such as the Tax Administration, Social Security, and others as required by law.
Specifically, for talent under agency contracts, personal data may be shared with third parties such as final clients, casting agencies, production companies, and photographers, both within the EU and in third countries, for agency representation purposes.
FUTURE TALENTS ensures that employees with access to personal data commit to confidentiality through formal contracts and receive proper training in data protection.
5.Personal Data Protection
FUTURE TALENTS considers confidentiality and data integrity fundamental in building trust with clients, talents, suppliers, and business partners. We have implemented security measures, processes, and systems to protect personal data against destruction, alteration, and unauthorized access.
If you are dissatisfied with the use of your personal data by FUTURE TALENTS, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the national data protection authority – Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados.
6.Changes to the Privacy Policy
FUTURE TALENTS reserves the right to make changes to this document at any time to align with best market practices or future legislative or regulatory changes.
